Is it odd to see the glorification of what this guy did as just one step towards a society that would be thrilled for the Purge movies to literally happen in real life?

    • You said it better than me – totally agree with this, and ironically its the left that are loving itDaveO
    • yeah because the right are too dumb to notice or care. But it's not the left or the right really if you look at comments on the socials, it's the bottom 99%_niko
    • the top 1% want us to believe it's left vs right and fight against each other. They make the issue about who's drinking a bud light or Haitian dog eaters or w_niko
    • ...whatever the fuck Musk is on about at any given moment, they thrive and flourish on our infighting and division, but make no mistake about it the real enemy_niko
    • ...are the cunts at the top. The sooner we wake up to this fact the better society might be._niko

    • The right has been clamouring for a Purge for decades, and used to get away with it too.i_monk
    • This seems like the law of the jungle to me. These companies are so large and powerful, there's effectively no ability to regulate them.monNom
    • You can't regulate the regulators.
      But The Adjuster can

    • can you assassinate fatcats into changing the system? They'll withdraw further into their gated homes, bunkers, islands, network cities, crypto-statesFax_Benson
    • maybe not but it must be possible to hack them into oblivionhans_glib
    • The irony is that it might well end up being other insurance companies that demand better governance in order to provide key man insurance, and life AD&D etc.monNom
    • If working for a health insurer is suddenly seen as being very risky, those premiums are going to go way up if they are available at all.monNom
