    my dog has such an interest, fascination obsession, hatred, disdain for skunks that I almost enjoy having to smell it for a day or two after she terrorizes another one. on the other hand, skunk shampoos do not work as advertised. #cognitive #dissonance #reduction

    • Hydrogen peroxide, warm water, and a little dish soap works a treat. Use a sponge to apply. Careful around the eyes.monNom
    • The oxygen in hydrogen peroxide binds to the sulfur (I think?) in the skunk spray that makes it so hard to remove. Makes it less ‘sticky’. soap does the restmonNom

    • i'd avoid hydrogen peroxide for it's ability to dissolve flesh, but i have found vinegar works for the tub cleanupimbecile
