You guys ever see these in your area? I’ll pay you to catch and ship ‘em to me. They’re apparently common but not here, and nobody sells them.

    • scar trying to get us killed...sad!oey_oey
    • Never Skip Legs Day!utopian
    • pretty common here, but not sure they'd make it across the atlantic.kingsteven
    • Lol, I killed one a few days ago. I normally let spiders run free, I only kill those and yellow sacs because of the risk of them biting the dogs.garbage
    • They are a rare sight, but mostly because the yellow sacs get to them first. Sacs killed my free range orb weaver, Katya. They die on sight.garbage
    • My current ranger is a giant house spider that is probably mopping up all of the woodlouses. I saw a sac this morning.garbage
    • So Slippy is probably doing a molt behind a painting somewhere. If I see one, I will catch it.garbage
    • Lol nice. I’m going out hunting today, hope to cop a few for the vivarium to keep isopod population under controlscarabin
    • Happy hunting! I'll keep my eyes peeled.garbage
    • Will spiders of different species fight each otherdrgs
    • Yeah, they'll eat each other. Yellow sacs are tiny little bastards. They make a little cocoon during the day, at night they eat their hammock and go hunting.garbage
    • They will kill the pictured spider if it is unfortunate enough to wander inside. Noticed that if I let a giant house spider roam..garbage
    • ..there are more empty cocoons in the corners of my ceiling.garbage
    • TIL that what we call potato bugs are actually woodlice. And that they go by a different name everywhere. And that they’re not insects but crustaceans_niko
    • Found one of these this morning! Was on the way out unfortunately and was barely moving. Pretty common here in Southern Ontario.Centigrade
    • I would send you one, but cross-border creature trading.... no idea how that works.Centigrade
    • @niko Must be a local nomenclature. "Potato bug" could mean anything from a Jerusalem Cricket to a Rolly Polly. This is a woodlouse spider..garbage
    • ..because that's their main prey.garbage
