I take Advil / Ibuprofen BEFORE any additional movement in life; IE cycling, jogging/running / etc.
Combined with a 1/2 tab of Gravol (for mild anxiety / stomach) AND this is as (medically) high as I'll probably ever be in my life. Lightly caffeinated as well.
Calculated risk (wisdom) rather than unabashedly chaotic (naivety/youth).

- Not healthy, better to be still than to take all those medsOBBTKN
- I'm working on coming off of the over-the-counter "stuff"; one step at a time.

- Inflammation is a double-edged sword, it tears down, but also heals and rebuilds. NSAIDs are incompatible with physical exercisedrgs
- Bodybuilders take arachidonic acid to increase their inflammation. The only exception is when your immune system is out of whack and attacks itself etcdrgs
- Ibuprofen? Dude you're killing your liver.NBQ00
- @NBQ00, I was drinking 24/7 in a (recent) past life of mine.
My liver is on the mend bro.
*thumbsup*ideaist - How old are you, Idealist? I turned 48 this summer and my muscles and joints ache daily. But I just power through it.BonSeff
- In my entire life I've probably only ever taken about 5 pain killer pills... max.shapesalad
- Good on you for stopping drinking. I am coming up on a year. Feels great.BonSeff
- I'm 39; 40 May 12th of this year. Understanding the wealth in health @BonSeff. Thanks AND ending the drink has saved me in every way.ideaist
- That ibuprophen isn’t helping your stomach. Use it too long and you get ulcers. Naproxen/Aleve is the same. And probably aspirin for that matter.monNom
