    Receding gums.

Anyone have experience with 'Gum-coloured resin' treatment?

    • apparently really common these days due to rotary electric toothbrushes. hygienist friend just convinced me to upgrade to sonicare...kingsteven
    • not like it'll help me, mouth like stone henge these dayskingsteven
    • sonicare does not rotate?drgs
    • just resonates back and forth at 261Hz (middle C) apparently thats what cleans. oral-b claim 8800 'movements per min' (146Hz) but the rotation itself is 5Hzkingsteven
    • so they're just counting the highest resonance of the mechanism, im not sure how much of that makes it to your teeth.kingsteven
    • Sonic care rocks. Been using one for 10+ years. My gums were receding then and haven't gotten any worse.formed
    • Last week I had to have periodontal surgery to correct the top left area. Lots of collagen and stitches. It's partially hereditary.CyBrainX
