My wife loves Bill Burr (so do I... hard not to). He's doing a show at Fenway in August and I'd love to take her... but FFS, BILL... min $120 for rooftop seats that are nearly a quarter mile from the stage? I want to say 'smh'... but... I really want to take her...

    • See him in a different city?
      ********
    • nothing else nearby :( and seeing him @ Fenway's part of the drawPonyBoy
    • Well that’s why the tix are more expensive
      ********
    • Worth it, I think. Get a hot dog instead of going for dinner and you'll be close to even.monNom
    • Get her to a nice dinner place, watch the show on YT... 120 bucks to watch a comedian?OBBTKN
    • Fuck that, he's good but that is too much $$$
      ********
    • I saw him at Madison Square Garden and I was shocked at how much funnier it was in person. Comedians on TV just ain’t the same
      ********
    • And I thought MSG would be too big for a comedian but as it turns out, laughing in a room along with a few thousand other people is an amazing feeling

    • ^ couldn't agree more! Everything is better in a packed theatre but the difference between TV and live comedy is huge.MrT
    • I spent a fair few $ seeing Bill Burr in Aus a few years ago, his bit likeneing Sydney to a dull Sacramento was worth the ticket price alone.MrT
    • $120 per tricket LOLutopian
    • If you're both into it then do it. You'll end up spending that or more on a few dinner dates anyway. Might as well spend it on something you both enjoy. ;)sea_sea
    • I used that same logic on her earlier this evening & think I have her convinced, C’s. I’m probably going to drop $400+ and get more ‘respectable’ seatsPonyBoy
    • Omg... the fucking fees... $65 service fee and an $8 fulfillment fee... haha... gonna think this through a bitPonyBoy
    • Y'all might as well go all in at this point! Lolsea_sea
    • There nothing better than being in a packed venue surrounded by people almost pissing themselves. Bill Burr is one of the bestIanbolton
    • $65 fees per ticket?!? Fuckers
      ********
    • maybe he's a secret QBNer and will send you compsdee-dubs
    • I'm Bill Burr
      ********
    • Did ya gettum?sea_sea
    • I held back and didn’t buy (yet)... it’s really hard to part with what will be about $700 for two people for one night of comedy...still have time to change my mindPonyBoy
