Everybody probably knows this but I didn't.
adobe tip - dimensions in shape properties can be changed with mathematical functions. So if you want a shape to be 1/3 of its current height, add /3 after the height value in the dialog box.
- Top tip - this doesn't work everywhere... wait until you stumble across the cases when it doesn't...shapesalad
- It's handy in InDesign when setting up type relative to the baseline gridsausages
- Donb't feel *too* bad, Fax ... I only learned this trick 3 years ago, after 20+ of using PS and Ill.Continuity
- I use this constantly in Illy and then try in PS where it falls flat on its face.Nairn
