I am 36. A girl (maybe 23?) I invited to a party said her sister was in town that day, so she wasn't sure when she'd get there. I said, "bring your sister!" and she said "haha, she's like 40!" and I'm like, "uhh..."
And yes I am hawking this girl down, and yes I did already make out with her. So... there.
People's behaviors and interests at 40 vary significantly. Having no kids and having never been married, I am forever 28.
I do meet people who are 'my age' who look and dress like they are somebody's parent. Makes me a little sad inside.
- It's all perspective. You feel a little sad for them. They feel a little sad for you.ETM
- when responsibility shifts practicality overrides aesthetics. some people want to better match their own age and the best source for the looks are those********
- Many exes around 30 now have at least 1 kid and/or married too. Guess is hard to stay a rebel over 30...********
- friends with kids.********

- I was expecting it to end with you hooking up with the sister too lolsea_sea
- Soon you'll be 45, acting like 28, and nobody will make out with you.monospaced
- There's nothing wrong with forever 28.garbage
- It is when you're 45, alone and nobody anywhere near 30 wants anything to do with your old balls.monospaced
