i never post but this is just too fucking insane to not share.

it's the first time I genuinely feel my job as a creator could be threatened by AI. (said so- obviously there are also so many cool positive implications like with any cool new technology). but still. holy fuck.
- DARPA just put a ton of money into a coding AI. Fingers crossed for UBI we can all just chill and watch our careers go the way of the coal miner.garbage
- AI + all the stock illustrations + AE templates + photos + video + easy iPad image editing = marketing teams don't need designers anymore.shapesalad
- Very few jobs will be safe in the long run. There are already AI Journalists in operation; you can still spot the articles they write and it's very fact based..Wolfboy
- stuff (expanding on statistics in politics, sports, etc.) but it can't be too long before they are used for more editorial work.Wolfboy
- journalists are supposed to present facts, not opinion. AI would be welcome in that regard.imbecile
