Love me some good old movies in dark & rainy days - better in the candlelight - The Night of the Hunter (1955) - good for the soul, not so heavy on your senses, loved the gorgeous cinematography with a simple story.

    • Absolutely love Night of the Hunter. Every shot is perfect. Got to see it on the big screen a couple of years ago.fadein11
    • I had to pause so many times to get the screenshots. At one point, I said - Again?. Feel so good when I find these gems from so long ago. Got more @fade?helloeatbreathedrive

    • @mg Cinematography was great - a bit more patience is required with old flix - acting/story may drag but I enjoy the quietness, simplicity and art direction.helloeatbreathedrive

    • This is one of the greatest films of all time, criminally underrated. Mitchum was a fucking force in this one. The duet scene? Still gives me chills.garbage

    • If you have kids, show them while they're young (fine after 8 or 9 I'd say). They will forever remember and cherish it.spl33nidoru
    • And they'll appreciate the more adult themes more as they grow up.spl33nidoru
