So, according to CNN's live feed today, 'more than 2.6 million general election ballots have been cast so far'.

Don't know how many total eligible voters there are in the States, but that already seems a pretty high figure, no?

    • I think there are more people in one big American city than that.monospaced
    • There are 15 million registered voters in California alone. Most states are near a million each. 2.6 is not much at all.monospaced
    • 235 M eligible voters. About 120 M registered. About 60 M of those might vote.monospaced
    • It also includes Americans resident overseas - a best chum got his postal ballot the other day.Nairn
    • I still have not gotten my ballot, seems to be caught up in the mail. #thanksdejoygarbage
