Got a tooth pulled out a week ago. Still constant headaches and jaw pain. Dentist told me to take 2 Paracetamol + 2 Ibuprofen up to 4 times a day. That's 16 over-the-counter painkillers every day. And it shows no signs of going away.

    Can't be healthy...

    • ugh, been there done that. the withdrawal was horriblehans_glib
    • The withdrawal? What does that entail? More headaches??jagara
    • LOL your dentist is a pusher, it's a bit much 4X4 a day.renderedred
    • make sure it's not infected. I had wisdom teeth out and the pain got worse and worse, needed antibiotics to kill an infection. Not fun. Get it checked!BaskerviIle
    • ^^^ this. It sounds infected.section_014
    • If the infection spreads, all teeth need to be pulleddrgs
    • Worse, the infection can migrate into the jaw bone where there is little blood flow and could require removal of the jaw. Not a good look.monNom
    • PULL ALL THE TEETH THEN GET BACK TO US. JUST USE PLIERS.
      DON'T THINK, JUST DO IT.
      Nairn
    • THEN REMOVE JAW.Nairn
    • you need to sleep. deep sleep. take the ibuprofen at night to relax and combat inflammation, use paracetamol during the day. clean 'infection' with vodka.uan
    • Better don’t ask dental advice on qbn. Get things checked again.SimonFFM
    • Who asked foor advice? I'm just whining ;)jagara
    • I talked to the dentist, they told me to get an acute appointment, if the pain gets worse. It hasn't. Still not pleasant :-/jagara
