    Hey, so what’d i miss?
I hope this little corner of the world hasn’t fallen to shit as well.

I burned out on film advertising (that industry is fucking brutal for no real reason) and took a couple years off to work on myself and some personal projects. Doing consulting from home while i try to not catch the plague

    • I feel you on film advertising. I worked the FYC campaigns for two major film studios in 2018. Not exactly easy work and the longest hours ive worked in a whileshellie
    • Yeah, the hours were killing me. I reached 80 one week and that was the final strawscarabin
    • Oh this little corner is dusted, you've missed some boring drama. Glad to see you back.garbage
    • Welcome back, glad you're ok now. This place hasn't changed much since you left, bennn got a new job. Nothing else important happened.zarkonite
    • set had a rage-quit after making the mistake of posting his face, a few dyslexic dimbulbs have appeared, and we all need to work on some collaborative project.garbage

    • i heard some crazy rumor only 2 to 3 shops still work actual studio theatrical releases everyone is on streaming key art.jonny_quest_lives
    • I've done streaming key art but more on the UI side so it's not as prestige as the OOH Marquee Art the Streaming platforms releasejonny_quest_lives
    • Howdy Bennn! I’ll be around for a while. Quarantine’s got me starved for interactionscarabin
    • but it's volume based much like home entertainment used to be and the Netflix UI needs multiple versions of the art to steer users into selecting something tojonny_quest_lives
    • Netflix stuff is fun ‘cause they want pieces from every conceivable marketing angle. Their algorithm works out which works best for individual usersscarabin
    • stream so your constantly revising 10 to 20 comps with the client then uploading to test/prototypejonny_quest_lives
    • I was doing retouching for Beats by Dre for a while; they pay well and have fun benefits. A finisher would find that stuff a breezescarabin
