I've been doing daily bike rides during this quarantine period, and using this time to tune up all the bikes in my fleet.
I finally got a project that's been on hold for 5 or 6 years rolling.
Behold, the venerable 1990 Bridgestone MB-3!
Yeah, the cockpit is kinda kooky, but I'm old now and I needed to flip the bars to make the riding position more comfortable. I don't love the aesthetic, but it's quite functional and I'm trying to work with the parts I've got. Might replace it with a more tasteful handlebar setup soon.
Even at 30 years old, this thing shifts precisely and rides a lot more smoothly and nimbly than you might expect.
Gonna take off that old plastic pie plate once I get some space from my boys.
Might eventually convert it to a 1x7 drivetrain too, but I've never done that before so not sure if it'll work out.
- Should note: All original parts except for saddle, seatpost, bars, and tires.nocomply
