Anyone have a suggestion as to what to get for a coworker who just had a son with his wife? He'll be out for a week or so as they have family coming and going, but I would like to find something for him and his wife. I'm thinking money is what they need the most of and I am in no position to presume what their needs are at this time, cash seems so impersonal, same for gift cards. Any suggestions before I drop $100 in a congratulations card?

    • I'd be fine with 100 bucks...pango
    • instead of cash, get a savings bond in the name of the kidGnash
    • or gift card to whatever hipster baby store is robbing all the young'unsGnash

    • Get them food. Get them dessert. And coffee. Get them some smart light bulbs or maybe a great book. All those things were useful in the first weeks.monospaced
    • It’s this vicious 3-4 hour awake sleep cycle round the clock for weeks. They won’t know what time it is and it’s hard to keep up with meals.monospaced

    • +1 food. Get them frozen easy to prepare stuff, or a voucher for some sort of food delivery service. Even better if it's a home-made meal.monNom
