Do anyone know an alternative to Illustrator to trace/vectorize images? I use Illustrator 99% of the time only to vectorize images

    • I use Vector Magic, it seems to get the curves a bit better and is easy to change and preview edits before. I edit it in Illustrator afterward though.PhanLo

    • That’s what you use it for? I’m kind of astounded. That tool is one of the least used of all for me. Has it improved in recent years or something?monospaced
    • I’m genuinely curious. What images are you vectorizing, how are you using them, and what settings do you use?monospaced
    • ^ this. i haven't used that feature in ages. (aside from vectoring the occasional crap jpeg logo some PR hack sends)Gnash
    • Adobe streamline. In flash you can "break" a raster image into vectors. Posterize in photoshop, select by colour, then selection to path in the paths panelmonNom
