The last two days have been the highest of high and the lowest of low.
Monday evening I'm pretty sure our cat of 16 years had a stroke in the middle of the night. I stayed up with her and made her as comfortable as I could. That morning things just didn't seem to be improving with her and we had to put her to rest. By Tuesday afternoon I just felt emotionally drained and numb.
Then Wednesday morning we get a phone call that my wife's cousin, who had been missing for over a month had been located in California and was safe. I honestly thought she was gone forever and if she was ever found she'd be dead. We don't know all the details but holy fucking shit she was found.

- yes mugwart. saved my neighbor who had ODd earlier in the year. From what little I know about our cousin, someone who recognized her fromkona
- our constant facebook posts saw her on the street in cali (she's from illinois) and called the police. the cops took her to a mental hospital for evaluationkona
