  If you have a lot of hangup time in the beginning it's almost certainly your web host. You truly get what you pay for in the world of web hosting.

  For WordPress sites these days I recommend WP Engine. The clients I host on there have no issues with load times or stability of service.

  I'm actually a developer partner of theirs and I can get you a discount if you want to sign up with them.
