Was playing video games with the girlfriend last night and had the puppy (7 month black lab) outside on a leash..I kept saying, let's leave her out there until she comes back to the door..Let her play..
So we keep playing games and then my girl went out to check on her. My puppy was outside choking on something..So we got her inside, you could see the desperation in my dogs face, like she knew she was in trouble.
I stick my hand in her mouth and feel nothing. My dog started scratching her paw towards her face..She was trying to tell me..It was really crazy because I felt hopeless and thought she could cough it up. I even held her upside down to try and hit her back to cough it up..
Now we're on the way to the vet freaking out..she's still squirming but breathing...And finally I look down and she coughed up a stick about 3 inches long...She stopped freaking out but was immediately exhausted from it. No vet but scared the shit out of us.
Man, what a fucking scare.
