Have you tried using a graphics tablet?
...haha, seriously tho, over use injuries are a nightmare to recover from if you don't have the luxury of doing nothing for three months.
Maybe try to plan exactly what you're going to do before you pick up the pen to minimise wasted effort, and do as little as possible with the hand until the physio etc builds the strength again.
I got pretty good at left handed wacom operation, maybe make it a rule to only use your phone with your left hand too.
