    That line spacing is ridiculous. White space ok, but this is just too much. The loss of information is greater than the benefit (readability?).

    Also I don't really think the combo of red with dark grey is a good choice. Especially not when red is used for highlighting. Red is perceived as a warning color. E.g. take a close look at the "SEARCH MAIL" and "COMPOSE MAIL" buttons. I don't see why one has to be red and the other one blue.

    And there's more. But in short, while there are strengths (e.g. the buttons on top) I don't like the color use and use of white space in this redesign.
