    The language is awesome. succinct, and intuitive. Hosting costs a mint though. It was the first language I learned after html. Coldfusion seems to have been more relevant 5-6 years ago. Now with open source languages with cheap hosting solutions that permeate the landscape, it's kind of killing itself.
    For instance: We struggled getting google custom autocomplete to work - worked great in php, but wasn't working right in cfm... or connecting flash to a database w/ coldfusion - I remember it being easier in 2003, but it seemed unnecessarily complicated.
