    student discount limits you to one apple laptop and apple desktop per year, but i'm not sure how strict they are on that.
    i think the discount on macbook pro's is around 12% this rate doesn't ever change, but the ipod touch offer is only ever during the summer before school/uni starts again. it's the best way to shift macbooks and ipods to students before bringing out new versions.

    you may also be able to get some cash-back on a printer at the moment, not sure, its usually about £60 and there's usually a printer that price on sale in the store so a free printer isn't bad!

    plus, the student discount on AppleCare is crazy, £47 instead of £200, but you only get that price when you buy in store and when you buy the machine, if you buy applecare later on (within the standard 1 year warranty) its about £120. - i made this mistake once, not cool.
