  Call me an old fool (not that old), should you not figure it out, here's what I'd do:

  1. Layout text in photoshop, print to a4
  2. Fasten a4 on thin plastic, hard cardboard or similar. Cut out letters.
  3. Get some latex or soft plastic from your closest homecenter. Wrap/thighten over the letters.
  4. Add lightning, take pictures. Perhaps touch-up in ps after.

  If you're not that proficient in x software chances are that this would look more natural and dare I say it...better.
  Also, you get a walk/exercise when getting that latex. And that feeling of having done some design with substance.
