Watched the documentary "Beer Wars" the other day. There was a scene in a bar, where random people were selected, asked what they normally drink (of the big 3 breweries - AB, Miller, Coors). Then conducted a blind taste-test to pick out their 'brand'. None of them identified their beer.
This really only applies to those major, watered-down american lagers. The craft breweries are much more unique.
