this happened before, but not in rooms with 5 meter height. back then i tried to catch it, went after it, the bird knocked himself out by flying against a wall. i checked, thought it was dead. took it to the window, threw it out from the 5th floor. around when it reached the 2nd floor it woke up and started flapping, but wing was broken. crashed hard into a tree, crammed between the branches. head down, half-dead. hung there for a couple of days. guilt.
