miko has some good points. I married my wife in Korea... we were apart for the first year. Living totally seperate while working on a visa. Granted we dated that way for 3 years, so it was normal to us.
My friends and coworkers were like "oh, you're life will change so much", blah blah blah. My life has changed... mostly for the better.
Take chances, have fun... you can't buy back time.
