I find it really interesting when people write about 'other people', but in reality are describing themselves in the process, She said, ...

Who does this sound like? Obviously, she's been hiding the real monster inside her, from you, for a long time, and she can't keep it up any longer.
Count your lucky stars mate. No matter what this might cost you, it's the cheapest you'll ever get away - be glad you didn't marry her or get her pregnant.
