for those of you interested in organic food and not eating geneticaly modified crap check this out. I got this in the mail this week, i guess this would be the spot to post it..
Obama's Secretary of Agriculture
Despite strong opposition, Obama's choice for Secretary of Agriculture is former Iowa Governor Tom Vilsack who has actively supported genetically engineered crops and is not a friend to organic gardeners, but instead a friend to the Monsanto, which vigorously promotes genetic engineering and viciously opposes (not an exaggeration) labeling it.
there's a petition to try to block his confirmation and I urge you to also sign it and pass this along to anyone you think would be interested!
