btw, im reading youre adding music to itunes, unless u disabled the "copy files to itunes music folder" (preferences > adnvaced) it will actually create a double set of your mp3s, instead of just adding to the playlist
- I like letting iTunes sort everything out for me. Then I just delete my own files.Jaline
- But it's probably a good idea to keep a separate copy of every MP3 for later use. In case something happens.Jaline
- You can drag the iTunes folder onto another drive to back your entire library upcreative-
- Now, mp3 are not the most important files on my system, id rather not have 2 x 40GBdrgs
- True, creative, but if you don't use iTunes in the future then it would be frustrating to get every file out of the folders.Jaline
- Since iTunes organizes them based on artist name. Each in separate folders.Jaline
- Very true. I'm sure there must be a utility out there that can grab all the files from the folders and put them in any location...creative-
- ... if that makes sensecreative-
- Yeah, I've been looking for something that. It would be useful for fonts too.Jaline
