  It really does depend on what your interested in visiting or doing?
  Beach, country or jungle?
  **The Mayan Riviera is incredible, it's the Caribbean for gods sake. Playa del Carmen if you want to keep it real.
  **Beautiful "San Miguel de Allende" is more of the art/colorful town, very close to Guanajuato another must if your in that area.
  **Puerto Vallarta is another beautiful beach/jungle town. :)

  I just got back from Mexico city, it's cool, but i don't recommend spending your time there. especially if this is your first time in Mexico.
