Look, you code HTML, right, leftwave? If Filter's not doing it for you, just take two seconds and analyse the structure of that link you posted..

( http://www.qbn.com/filter/leftwa…)See what it's doing? you've got readable components right there - first off, the filter, then the username, content type, order sort and time range. swap any of these around for different results (what the filter does).
Want to do a keyword search there? add a search string at the end (again, as it does in the filter)
