It reminds me of the attack ads done by politicians nowadays. Do people love these types of ads (the media has changed over the years...is it towards using shock tactics?), or do people hate them? Does it have any correlation to the voter numbers being down? Who knows.
I imagine there are people who are turned off by these Apple ads, but many love them (as revealed in this thread).
- I think it's more about keeping the 'us versus them' attitude alive, than winning new customers. Same with attack ads.monNom
