I'm on a G5 2.3 Dual that I bought right when the Intels were coming out.
I bought the PPC because the G5 towers are incredibly stable, and they are the last in a long, long line of Mac PPC chipsets.
They are at the very top of the heap, whereas Apple is just getting started in the Intel arena. There are still bugs to be worked out over time.
The G5 tower is the apex of the PPC saga, and is a damn fine machine.
If you're getting a killa deal, then DO IT.
