If a headhunter contacts you, is that a sign that someone's heard of your reputation, or someone internally is trying to get rid of you?

to be more precise, it could be either. my company, creatis, here in minneapolis, works on outsourcing from clients such as best buy, target, and a few others. they try to lessen the burden and will take on employees of these companies if such action is needed.
but kezza, i guess the only way you may know, is to give the hh a shout back.
