i used to have insomnia
you know what helps? listening to something repetative and calming when you are about to go to sleep
i use the sound of the waves hitting the beach for 30 mins and then a thunder storm for another 30 ... i never get to the thunder storm though
it also helps to have a ritual before you go to sleep. do the same shit every night so that it becomes familiar.
