I usually steer clear if possible. I've done a couple where I've sent them a link to a host and told them to sign up themselves and send me the account info and one where the client is on a dedicated server that i somehow ended up managing but it's suprisingly low maintenence.
I guess it's entirely up to you, I'd generally steer clear unless you're going to make a few quid on it.
