    I made mine in Quark just because I think its easier to use than MS word for that kind of stuff. I exported it as a PDF, and then made an HTML version for it for my multi-page folio (i know, i know..so 2005 of me).

    I think its important to have a .doc copy handy in case somebody wants it, but so far I've been able to get by without it.

    In terms of design, I think its elegant to let the text speak for itself. Let your layout of the type be your art. Think of a resume like a diploma or something...elegant, minimalistic, follows a style of design that has been proved for years. That's my stance on it.
