on a similar note...
a company that sends me a lot of work emailed last friday afternoon about a tight deadline site mock-up..."if you have a past layout you think you can use that would be great. I am sure you have done a lot of sites that would work just fine."
i was a bit pissed. that not only shorts me as a designer, but the "soon-to-be" client, and any past client that paid for the dev. of that re-used "template".
when creating any layout, i try to keep the company's industry philosophy, style, etc in mind and do as much research as time allows to that the design makes sense and flows well.
i need to explain that more thoroughly i guess
