what you can do to improve the performance of the scrolling is using pixelfonts or an other aliased font. when i set the quality of the flash site to 'low' for example, it already moves shitquick.

Stage.align variables..so the pixelfonts will look like shit when resizing the browser window...
setting the quality of the flash site to 'low' made it smoother indeed.
