working on this site lately, wonder what you NTppl think about the design.
and maybe you can give me some hints/tips to how make it look/work better!
tnx in advance:-)
(its my first flash site)

I like it!!
Taking in consideration that is for Experienced internet users.
i always think that when the the prpose of a site is to inform about, the navigation should not be a "enigma". people have less and less time. they want access te iformation the search i very fast and clear way. So my sugestion is keep it really simple and fast to navigate. If its an exprimentalist or kind of instalation, then ok do whatever you feel like!!
So, resuming I like it, BUT i think the navigation is out of context you should keep it simple and use that kind of navigation to do something more conceptual in the future!

Awesome. The navigation is just fine, it's fast and pretty easy to use, as long as people have figured out not to click on pop-ups they can surf any website.
- armed_rob0
looks pretty cool.
a few points that will make it better:
The "programm" drop down or up, is hard to read. Play around with the alpha or make the boxes the same width as the "programm" box?
the "kontakt/presse" pictures looks pretty pixelated, you need to redo them in 100% size.
I think you could use the pink color some more and get a better look... maybe even some of the backgrounds in pink?
Nice work if its you first flash site!
- Lesk0
I agree, with rob, didn't even notice the ''program'' drop*up, that should be pink and maybe some key elements on the map.
- Elfangio0
Like I said i like it also!! I can use it very well...but shouldn't design in general be accessible to everyone!!

I just took another look at your site and found the alternative way to get around on it... that have got to be more clear I think...
- takashi0
tnx a lot:-)
i think the problems you described are the the main issues at the moment:
-the navigation
-the average user
-hint for 'alternative navigation' (the click and drag method)
- the pixelated images
-more use of color to make things more clear and easy to understandat the moment i am thinking about putting a small map nearby the navigation,so you would see that you are on a huge page...well that is thought 1.
on the other hand i am seriously thinking about a html version to give the less experience user the possibility to access information as the ussually do.and thanks again for your comments!
- Lesk0
haha, english version - pre-english
or internet users - typewritter
muahahaha
or just flash version - html. but thats boring.
- clw0
I like the site. It's different from all the other pages i surf daily. It also loads fast, which is ++++.
Took a while for me to discover the alternative nav method as you mentioned. The page also slides around somewhat choppy (low fps?). Could be my slow computer though...
- Lesk0
I havent found it.
- takashi0
well the framerate is actually pretty high (39 fps), means i think its high, dont know how much high is normally for flash sites...so the problem is actually slow computers, that is i know that. i tested at a 300Mhz proc. and well its really slow, but its a really slow proc too...
and for the 'hidden nav', well thinking about a method to make it more visible, but didnt come up with a solution yet...hope to think about something in the coming days...
- bot0
very slow and rubbish. The nav is useless. Go home and try again
- takashi0
mmm...ok bot
should i really care about the opinion of a bot....
....
- Crouwel0
takashi, simply ignore people with nothing constructive to say!
(*unless it's fun ofcourse!)
- Elfangio0
No you should not care:
1. He just sign in Newstoday 6 days ago - don really know how thigs work around here i guess - I mean being constructive, etc..
2. He doesn't argument about his point of view. Just being rude and as he says useless
3. What could you expect from a gay...ooops guy sorry missspeling, that call himself bot!?
Back to your website! In one word. Accessibility! I like the nav but its not easly accessible and I think that is one of the most or biggest problems in web today, too many unaccessable sites. Either because of the nav, structure, color scheme, font size, ALL TOGETHER :)
If your propose is to show content:
1. Keep it simple
2. clear
3 Accessiblefor me the 2 first points you already achive ;)
Dont missunderstand me I like your nav system ah! ;)

ok mr. Elfangio, thanks for your really constructive critics and lesson.
I c, the Accessibility thing is still a problem on the site. you took it to the point. and this is where i will put my efforts into.

i like the functional and interaction of the site. but remember the user is always stupid—base on yr target audience though.
i also like kinda information design style. but i think the content is still confusing. they may need to work more on that. maybe make it more simple elegant design/layout.
goodluck

haha, one of the sponsors is Migros.
what a supermarket. they don't sell any beer or wine - tsss!
- stewart0
and btw, that site looks great.
i found out the other way of navigation in a second, works very well. maybe a click-and-drag system would be nicer, but that can be difficult in combination with hyperlinks.
the performance on mac with safari isn't that good. bit choppy. but it works.
what you can do to improve the performance of the scrolling is using pixelfonts or an other aliased font. when i set the quality of the flash site to 'low' for example, it already moves shitquick.
good luck!

Unique site you got there. +1 for me :)
