I just got back last night from a week guadalajara visiting a friend.....a WONDERFUL trip.
i was in pleanty of bars, and had no problems. Also went to the markets without worrying. Just be mindful of your wallet (put it in a front pocket, or inside your jacket, etc..., and you shouldn't have any problems. just like any city -
