You have to stop wearing Vans.

    • i may be on my last pair. the comfort is unbearable now and they start to stink much quicker than before. Probably because of my hotfoot.capn_ron
    • They have some new modles with a UltraCush™ HD inserts and the Ultra Range model feels like a Nike Free or adidas Boost.rattail
    • But I still wear the old skool ones that fuck up my little toe.rattail

    • I'm old and that's all i wear. Checks for the win.wagshaft
    • I stopped wearing Vans because rich tools wanting to look cool were wearing them...not because I'm old.see_thru
    • My dad wore white vans with the blue stripe well into his 70's. He was a Sperry guy but Vans were easier for him to find.rattail

I was having lunch at my Mom's place last week for her birthday.

She asked me if I wanted a beer and I said "sure."

She proceeded to pull out one of her boyfriend's beers from the fridge. It was a Bud Light in an 8oz. can.

I had never seen any beer in such a small size before, and you know what I said?

"Hey, this is the perfect size for lunch!"

Signs of something, if not getting old -

The type of toothpaste I use has been discontinued. I noticed a few months back when all local supermarkets stopped stocking it, in place some slight variant. Confirmed by a visit to their website. Irritated by wrote this, I wrote an email asking if I could somehow get my hands on the old stuff. No response. Another email sent, still no response. Fuckit.

I start looking for alternatives, and try a couple but.. meh.

    .

Popped into some random shit cut price pharmacy on the way back from the shops earlier, on the off-chance - and, by golly, not only did they have some, it was on special offer.

I bought ten tubes. Should do me a while.

As soon as I left the shop I was thinking "Should've bought 50". I'm never going to find a toothpaste I prefer.

    • Bausch&Lomb discontinued my preferred contact lens liquid, and contacts too... I've not found anything similarOBBTKN

My parents are in their 70s and talk about being old. I didn't know it would happen this fast, and to them too.
