Can't believe this hasn't been posted yet. This documentary was nothing short of amazing to me. If you like Serial Podcast, Errol Morris, Werner Herzog, etc you need to watch this or at least google it.
Anonymous have decided to expose the Police dept: https://twitter.com/OPAVERYDASSE…
"One of the most disturbing stories I have viewed in a long time. Steven Avery is released after 18 years of prison of a false charge of rape in 1985. After DNA evidence proves he is not the attacker and the local government pushed him into the fire, his story doesn't end there. Avery begins a $36 million dollar lawsuit against the sheriff department and county that pushed him into prison, he is then accused of a gruesome murder, a murder that has far too many coincidences and questions.
I don't want to give away the full story for those who want to watch, but by the end of this I can't help but to want to do something, anything. I am disgusted and amazed at this gripping story. This story deserves press and a new trial/investigation. Available on Netflix now."

just added this to my queue the other night.
- Everyone avoid reading the quote posted by juanluisgarcia, way too much story there, it's best watched knowing nothing. (sorry juan!)spl33nidoru

Watched the first episode tonight after getting home from Texas. Shook my head several times; ridiculous what they show in just that episode in terms of the screw ups - accidental and willful.

Making A Murderer: Anonymous claims to have evidence that Netflix documentary’s subject, Steven Avery, is innocent

“Making a Murderer” is inspiring thousands of viewers to demand justice for Steven Avery, who is currently serving a life prison sentence for a crime he swears he didn’t commit.

The filmmaker sided with his lawyers. I'm sure they established it early on so they could film and get access to the lawyers.

how this couldn't be presented to a judge and just at least give this guy a fucking re-do trial in another state.
great series though.

I'm on episode 6. It's pretty crazy so far.

** spoiler alert **
Just watched it. How the jury came back with a verdict - beyond reasonable doubt - is beyond me. Now, it may be the presenter's bias but there are some serious holes in the prosecutor's story. Watching this was pretty shocking.
- hotroddy-1
definitely had a bias.
I love how the music changed to dark for prosecution testimony but light and fluffy for defense.
There were many instances of this that sort of made me think movie wasn't impartial.

Where's the blood?
Where's her DNA?
No evidence whatsoever, to convict beyond a reasonable doubt.
Excellent series - horrible story.

I want justice!

Just went through the whole series. Unbelievable. Will be interesting to see if the documentary helps for a re-trial.

Just watched the first episode. I must say, I found it slow and boring. Seems like they stretched it out to make it a longer series. Not sure I want to invest the time in the rest.
