I am an Aussie, I was living in Denver at the time. The night before I had finished work at 11pm and went out and got absolutely smashed.
I woke the next day to my mum coming in the door and yelling the white house has been attacked and the twin towers have fallen, we are under attack.
Being in Denver - near Norad all I could hear was very highly elevated jet fighters screaming above our heads.
My father is an architect and showed me buildings all around the world, without a doubt the ones that left the biggest impression on me were the World Trade Centers. I have stood at the top, I remember being so happy at the fact I was there, I looked at the smallest detail on a piece of concrete maybe 1cm square and mentally photographed is so I would never forget being there.
I will never will forget. RIP to all those beautiful people whose lives were affected or extinguished on that sad day.

File 17 is glimpse into still-secret 28 pages about 9/11
Amid the clamor a year ago to release 28 still-secret pages of a congressional inquiry into the Sept. 11 attacks, the government quietly declassified a little-known report listing more than three dozen people who piqued the interest of investigators probing possible Saudi connections to the hijackers.

I have a bowling/911 related story.....
I was sitting building a game in flashon day to promote an expo in New York to promote Scottish businesses in the US. It was a bowling game where you bowled a Haggis towards the Skyline of New York. The buildings were the skittles/pins and the twin towers were the front pin.
A message pops up on my MSN from a friend who I used to work with who now worked in the states. He was prompting me to get onto US news sites to see "what the fuck has just happened".
I watch in horror as planes are flying into the twin towers.
Went and spoke to Account Manager .... "I guess this game is shelved now?"

New information about suspected Saudi connection to 9/11 hijackers revealed.
The FBI inadvertently revealed one of the U.S. government’s most sensitive secrets about the Sept. 11 terror attacks: the identity of a mysterious Saudi Embassy official in Washington who agents suspected had directed crucial support to two of the al-Qaida hijackers. Yahoo News Chief Investigative Correspondent Michael Isikoff details the findings.
And now the Trump administration is trying to cover it up.

Attorney General Barr Refuses to Release 9/11 Documents to Families of the Victims
The move comes after President Donald Trump promised to help families, who accuse Saudi Arabia of complicity in the attacks. Barr says he cannot even explain why the material must stay secret without putting national security at risk.

Just made a research in my computer files dated from September 2001 to see what I've made or saved on that day (9-11)...
I have files for 9-10 but then it skipped to 9-17 .... No files for 7 days, I guess I was scotched to TV for a week.
