2066 – During the attack on the Muslim Rome, the United States used a new kind of weapon – the climate. The sharp cooling (instant freezing).
2299 – In France, guerrilla movement against Islam.
- 2011 – As a result of the fallout of nuclear fallout in the northern hemisphere will not be any animals or vegetation.detritus

It's a bit long, and I'll warn that there's some triggers words like climate change is not man made, but if you could look past some of that, this is a really interesting narrative of what is happening in the ME and the world at large. Also touches on why so many powerful people are becoming more vocal on the threat of AI.
- ... and I mean more David Ickes' narrative, not pill peddling Alex Jones.IRNlun6

Sorry to sound dumb, but if we support Assad like the Russians are, would that make things any easier? (not saying we would ever do that).
Nothing makes any sense to me anymore, and I try and understand. Sheeple who just read the newspapers probably think we're doing a great job and are still rooting for us to WIN WIN WIN!- ian no one is dumb here, coz no one knows really what's going on, but the main thing is that I'm personally sick of the war for profit aspect of this shit!GeorgesIV
- btw, do you remember when the UN instated a no fly zone over lybia thus allowing the rebels to maim and kill, now they're crying wolf like they actually careGeorgesIV
- about syrian lives,GeorgesIV
- Yeah, I know what you mean man. It's dogshit. I just don't like how war is treated as a form of protection.Ianbolton

- The leading narrative against Assad is that he's brutal to his own population. Yet Turkey and Saudi Arabia are the leading regional players trying to oust him.IRNlun6
- People of the West need to realize these wars are not for peace, freedom and democracy. These wars are to destroy countries and strip them of their wealth.IRNlun6

Isis has designs on the holy cities of Mecca, Medina, and Jerusalem and poses a danger to Europe, Vladimir Putin has reportedly said.
The Russian President said the situation is “very serious” and that Moscow is worried trained jihadists from the group - which refers to itself as the Islamic State - plan to return to EU countries and Russia, according to Russia Today.

Here's an interesting public lecture on understanding the rise of IS
- I'm sure they will off course leave out the millions of dollars in weapons and money that was funnelled to them by the USGeorgesIV
- He does actually explain how they've gathered their weapons in the Q&A at the end.Ianbolton
- I listened to that guy before and he always gloss over the biggest red herring about isis, who benefits > who finances them > who is really isis, if he startsGeorgesIV
- saying that isis is alqaeda light without explaining the true roots of alqaeda, I have to shut it off, should I give him another chance?GeorgesIV
- I've not heard of him before or knew much about IS so found it interesting.Ianbolton
- they are many experts but none will address how we can doubletap a wedding in backward afghanistan but we can't take out a fuckn train of white toy yodasGeorgesIV
- I love how we're all becoming part of this war on terror. It's kind of fun don't you think?Ianbolton
- We've always been part of the war on terror, because we have triggered it, if the US didn't go apeshit in irak, there will be no isis,GeorgesIV
- I know. At least Sadam was only a dictator but not a ruthless army of head severing, mindless religious nutcasesIanbolton
- So it's not worth watching? I do want to know how their mint, bright white Toyota's, nicer than many of my friends, get to them so easily.formed

Curious; why is ISIS being made out to be a joke?
Seeing/hearing lots of jokes by comedians and bloggers, I don't get it but maybe I'm missing something.

Bottom line is that the US can't win.
We do too much and everyone tells us to back off.
We do too little and everyone asks where the fuck we were.- for the love of god, that's the whole point, the us never wanted to win, from the start, do you still believe they went in to save those poor irakis? comoooooonnGeorgesII

ISIS wants power and money. They're making $10million a day by selling oil just to Turkey. The US created a situation purposely for an organization like ISIS to flourish. The more conflict, to more opportunity for the US to sell weaponry to countries to fight ISIS.
The US is like an anti-virus software company. They create the viruses, then sell you the anti-virus software.
In this case, they create war... for profit.

so ISIS captured 70 christian women and children and will no doubt carry out a gruesome public execution as further provocation to the west in hopes of drawing them into war. Don't see what they hope to achieve with this other than total inhalation of ISIS by the West.
Or is this some kind of CIA/MIC false flag to justify a new war?
Or Is Russia or Saudi Arabia or even Isreal propping up and supplying arms to isis for their own goals, arms sales, destabilization, regime change etc)
If anybody knows the answers to any of this please let me know, I'm confused as fuck.
- ie is ISIS a bunch of delusional, hell bent but ultimately doomed savages or is this a big game played by the superpowers of the world for their own twisted ends._niko

Isn't this sort of act ultimately going to be the cause of their demise in the longer run though?
I mean as far as propaganda goes at the very least.
They were on the verge of negotiating this pilots freedom with Jordan and killed him anyway, in the most vile way.
It just sends a very clear message that there's absolutely no point in engaging with them on a diplomatic level, there's only one way we're going to get rid of them...
- They're making a mockery of the States they're choosing to snub like this. What point a president if they can't face IS?detritus
- No worries, if they piss off enough countries less like the US and more like Jordan, it could all sort itself out.kalkal
- From what I read the pilot was most likely killed Jan 3rd. The talks fell apart when Jordan insisted on having proof he was alivemathinc
- still alive.mathinc
- Your point remains though.. diplomatically there's no point dealing with them.mathinc

...Most concerning of all, he said, was Isis fighters’ belief that “all religions who agree with democracy have to die”.
He said the view that kept being repeated was that Isis want to “conquer the world” and all who do not believe in the group’s interpretation of the Koran will be killed. The only other religions to be spared, Todenhöfer said, were the “people of the book” – Jews and Christians...
“This is the largest religious cleansing strategy that has ever been planned in human history”, he told RTL...
..In his view, Isis will soon come to the West to negotiate a level of co-existence. “The only ones who could stop this now are the moderate Iraqi Sunnis,” he said, adding: “If you want to defeat an opponent, you must know him.”...
