I always thing we these things it's how you feel...
I remember feeling ripped off when I was charged thousands in a strip joint. I was so drunk I don't remember a thing. So I called the bank to find out the sequence of transactions: between 1am-3am I had spent like $200, between 3-4:30am $2,400.
So I called the place and requested the tapes, and it turned out I was slumped at the bar still talking but to two strippers (fully clothed) for an hour and they rinsed me.
I ended up getting back all the money in that one hour period, but I had to fight for months, eventually meeting the owner for a quiet chat in the strip joint.
Keep fighting if you feel you've been wronged.

This is judges statement in sentencing for above story:
https://www.countycourt.vic.gov.…"6 The jury rejected your claims of self-defence and lawful removal of a trespasser, and in my opinion Mr Koka did not pose a threat to you or the other security guards. I do not accept that he made threats to assault you or the other security guards. Your use of excessive force was unjustified, and, rather than behaving in a manner that would calm the situation, you and other security guards overreacted to Mr Koka’s questions."

5 weeks on. What news?

"6 bouncers asking me to leave and I politely explained /i was not leaving in a calm manner.
After asking if i was refusing to leave and answering yes I was understandably picked and handled roughly by two guards one at each arm and tossed out.
That is all fine, I get that. Never been kicked out of anything in my life but last night i was drunk and i had no problem with having to be removed."
Now you want to get paid for your stupidity and dickness?

Well 6 weeks on and my hand is no better. I have had an electrical conduction study done at the specialist hand clinic within the hospital which shows damage to my median nerve.
The results have been sent to the Casinos insurance company and they are looking at their liability. I will update accordingly.

(I go back to hospital next week for further tests and potential surgery)

Funny you ask. Im laying here in pain (2-3/10) as I read this request! :\
Well today I had an ultrasound on my wrist, amazing!
Could see the whole nerve moving when clenching fist etc. Crazy! Never knew.
The specialist said that there is significant swelling of the nerve in the dominant hand (injured hand), which is telling, as usually you get that with the non-dominant hand, so that means it is a significant injury to the nerve.
His 'diagnosis' was swollen nerve, but could only say wait to speak to the hand specialist next week, whom he sends report and images to.
By this time next week I will know if im going in for surgery or not. I would prefer it to heal by itself of course!
Swollen median nerve? Healing? Whats the chances? Anyone?
