i love the concept of the right that obama is taking bags of cash from people with top hats & monocles and doling them out to poor.

also funny that the small govt people would have everyone on welfare be drug tested.. huh, who would test those people? oh thats right, a shit load of new govt hires for the purpose.

    • it will be outsourced to private companieszaq
    • oh like privatized prisons? hedging bets on one's shitty life outcomes is big business lately.BonSeff

"Again, Obama has been nothing but divisive to our country. "

Ih-huh. You know who made hime "divisive"? A bunch of rich assholes with lots of money to burn for four years funding bad media memes via think tanks and front groups and owning the dead end rump of the GOP in congress and paying them to vote against everything and anything and hold up every appointment possible.

Just another myth in the minds of dull headed reactionary dunces which sound intellectual only because the only other thing they have is "show us your birth certificate, negro!"

    2008: Percentage: Obama 52.9% McCain 45.7% Turnout 63.0%

    1980: Percentage: Percentage Reagan 50.7% Carter 41.0% Turnout 54.2%

Yes. Real "divisive". A guy who got a larger % of the American electorate to vote and a higher % of votes period than the "landslide majority" that Reagan got in modern times. You know the zombie guy you guys trot out when convenient when you want to point out the last "popular president who united all of America" or whatever. And Obama numbers in the last election beat anything else for decades. Yeah. "divisive". Just like he's a "socialist".

Obama is by no means a great president, but with you guys constantly inventing fictions about him for four years and denying reality in your own minds makes you run assholes like Romney thinking you can actually win.

    • Andersen got 6% of the vote in 1980 btw.TheBlueOne
    • How can you honestly say he isnt divisive. I dont understand the percentages you post-what is that supposed to be?whhipp
    • Has he pitted the 99% against the 1% or not? Just answer that question idiot!whhipp

Whipp isn't a troll he is just expressing his voice and his republican sensitivities. However repugnant they are to you and I. I'm just sad for him and the rest of his kidney, he is no doubt middle class and the republicans he would vote into power fucking hate the middle class. God help people like whipp they are like a beaten partner trapped in an abusive relationship too scared to leave and get out of the woods because they are clouded by fear and hate. You stand absolutely no chance whatsoever to survive in the long term if you vote republican. They will squeeze and tear your flesh until there is nothing left and then they will move on.

    • whhipp is the same who's been posting here for years. Also known as JazX.ukit2

Romney has done more to bring this country together and galvanise opinion than any politician here I've seen in many years.
Everyone I know is absolutely united, over the last few weeks, that he is the most odious, incompetent, mean-spirited, dishonorable person ever to sully the name of the presidency by attempting to win it. People are in shock at how consistently wrong he is on every issue, how he mis-speaks and mis-thinks every point whether it's something considered and strategic, or an off-the-cuff horror-fest like the chanting 'Romney-Ryan' with that red jacket on. I wouldn't let that man scan my groceries. It, and he, chills me to think that millions of people would help him become president. Of where they live. Have real power, make important decisions. It's absolutely, these last few weeks, beyond joke. It was beyond a competition some time before that, but it really feels like a ref should step in at this point and stop it. Romney has a massive cut over each eye so he cannot see, and is stumbling around the ring swinging and cheering with the crowd who are braying to see him knocked out. It's not fun anymore. I even get the sense Obama is pulling his punches and stepping back. Romney is a pathetic figure at this point, I feel for him. It's embarrassing.

Tell me exactly, whhipp, how you expect conservatives to reduce the amount of abortions, without basing it on religious guilt and shame, when the right's answer is abstinence, when Tennessee has banned the use of the word "sex" in sex ed and Utah has banned sex ed altogether, and Romney/Ryan want to defund planned parenthood who's mission is to "improve women’s health and safety, prevent unintended pregnancies, and advance the right and ability of individuals and families to make informed and responsible choices."?

    • you should stop asking whipp questions. He needs to get his GED first.zaq
    • im saying you are approaching the problem in a defense against religious persecution, when in fact we can all agree that abortion is not good. So lets agree its not good... then try to solve the issue at hand... of course their will be extremes left and right, but I feel if the majority actually get down from the staunch old rhetoric and actually look at the issue for what it is and agree its not a good thing no matter how you look at it, both sides can agree on some course to reduce abortions etc.whhipp

    • Pft. That was crap. Everyone knows it's bad, that's the dreadful choice that women struggle with. That's the point.mikotondria3
    • Difficult choice does not equal bad. That's entirely opinionated and based on morals dictated by something external.monospaced
    • Mono, i know two girls who had abortions. It was the right decision at the time. They are still not good. They still suffer from that decisionlocustsloth

there used to be days where anyone could succeed by working hard. those people who did are now CEOs (good on them) who spend millions upon millions to keep the common folk like us in debt, uneducated, and out of their way. these days the best an average person might earn is health insurance and maybe a house, which both can be denied for whatever reason the bank or the insurance company decide with no consideration for you as a human being.
