- detachable cord? design for design sake. purely aesthetic for photos, completely pointless for real-world.lvl_13
- hey? detachable cord is great as the cord is the first thing to fuck up on headphones no?inteliboy
- damn hipsterakrok
- fixed-gear bike not incl. :-)akrok
- good idea - cord comes out when you get caught on something instead of pulling them off your headdoesnotexist

"Beside s the incredibly huge variance in frequency response, the cubes cut off at 13.3khz, which means more than 65 percent of the highest octave is unaccounted for, because the speakers are incapable of reproducing it. The audiophile phrase "no highs, no lows, must be Bose"http://www.intellexual.net/bose.…
There's a reason they don't publish sound specifications on their products, so be ware, if you are going to pay pro-sumer or audiophile prices, I would recommend going with another brand.
- not an audiophile myself, but I do a bit of research before buying audio stuffMiguex

not a huge audiophile but still loving these
Took a coupel days to get use to comfort for long periods of time with the size of the ear hole. Guess i have big ears. And now the outside black stuff has been flaking off. They're a couple years old... Sound i cant complain about. Nice range and the the best clarity and bass from a few other low options i had. Better than a pair of $200 dollar shure ear buds i got from a friend. But i hate ear buds, the comfort is horrible. But not a pro tester so just from my limited perspective these are pretty damn good and shit theyre in camo.

i got a pair of beer dynamics DT 880's and they rock.... but they're like $300.

I love the cordlessness of my sony bluetooth headphones, but they don't sound so great....
Anyone have really good sounding bluetooth headphones, also that don't compress your fat head?... some feel like a vice on my wide head...

I might say that I am pretty impressed on how well balanced and accurate are the in-ear SHURE.
Even the cheapos are not bad at all.

I've never tried them, but I hear a lot of buzz about Dr. Dre's Beats. Anyone have an opinion on these?
- decent...but i like over the ear designs rather than on earsTheMagicSheep
- Hearing buzz is a sign of low quality audio equipment.i_monk
- I have a pair, nice sound, they do feel a bit "breakable" thou.dee-dubs
- the buzz is just a huge marketing campaign, just like what happens with Justin Biber or Lady Gaga, big corp spending big $Miguex
- spending big $$$ that's all.Miguex
- Cheap manufacturing – they will fall apart on you.NONEIS

Just got the AIAIAI TMA-1 last week from the Ghostly International store.
http://www.aiaiai.dk/headphones/…
They sound awesome, good fit, cool minimal look to them. Read about them, they were developed/tested by some pretty well known DJ's and are intended to be rugged and long-lasting.
