Interesting.. it seems Blackberry is actually trying to bring more and more Android into Blackberry world. If you can't get enough apps get Android onto QNX :)

I love my Android phone, but will probably get an iphone when my contract is up. Apple (as well as 3rd party developers) does a good job of making me want to have all my toys play nice together.

Calles has an android phone. You can't argue with the Calles coolness barometer.
Its official, iphones are for losers.

@boz,
how are you finding cyonagenmod? Ive been thinking about sticking it on my s1. got the 'f1 2.3.4 jvq' rom at the mo, so it has the sweet interface of the s2, runs v well.

Just picked up ASUS Transformer today.. such a great tablet. Doesn't feel cheap at all.. very slick , beautiful IPS display, great resolution, everything running smoothly.
$399 fantastic price. I love love Honeycomb. It comes with 3.1 honeycomb but it is said tomorrow Honeycomb 3.2 is coming to Transformer which is great news.
Overall, I'm enjoying it quite a bit, especially since I can view all Flash content. Believe it or not even desktop Flash sites for moveis with heavy video work fine. Not great but fine.
Overall, great purchase. I'm very happy with it. Do not listen to anyone whining about how it sucks. Mostly haters and Apple fanboys who never even used it.

^niiice. I was thinking that the transformer looks like the best tablet, sure to it having the best screen. I can't believe its meant to be the cheap option, with that screen! Need to have a blast on one in person.
You get the keyboard too?

And in terms of flash, I know what you mean.
I think single core devices don't work so well with flash (but its nice to have the option), but dual core is fine.

OMG!!! Galaxy S2 just arrived today.. OMG! This phone is beyond sick! I'm serious.
The screen is unreal. The phone is super light yet feels high quality.
It's similar difference compared to iPhone 4 when iPhone 4 was compared to the rest of the smart-phones when Retina display came out. Super AMOLED is unreal.
The phone has been on whole day and I didn't charge it at all when I opened it. It was at a 1/3rd of the battery and I was like let's drain this sucker so I can charge it fully from empty. But this shit won't die. ALL DAY and I've been without mercy (using 4G, bluetooth in my car, GPS etc nonstop)
I'm browsing HSPA+ mode on AT&T and it's seriously browsing at close speeds to my wifi.. but everywhere. The only time I see 3G is when I'm driving (i'm in movement) I guess HSPA+ can't hold a moving signal well.
Everything runs super super smooth.
Touchwiz is DISGUISTING. That's the only beef I have so far. I switched it to Launcher Pro and voila. There we go.
Can someone tell me, Clark or anyone else, is there a way to backup my current firmware before I go and flash it with stock Android 2.3.4. Just in case I want to go back to the factory one.
Is there anything else you would suggest I do with SGII instead of going stock 2.3.4?
Overall, I'm blown away.. this phone is really perfection. 8mb camera (that's the only thing I have left to try out) but I've seen examples and they look awesome.
The only thing that is pissing me off is that today they saw there's another SGII coming to the States.. with NFC on it.
But I guess i"ll live without it. I'm using Nexus S to test apps and stuff with NFC anyways. I guess with NFC SGII really becomes the ultimate smartphone. No wonder they are selling them like crazy.

Android conquers almost 50 percent of smartphone market
"Google's Android platform has taken almost 50 percent of the global smartphone market, dominating in the Asia-Pacific region, research firm Canalys said on Monday Android, which Google acquired in 2005 and launched on phones in 2008, is used by almost all the major phone makers including HTC, LG, Motorola and Samsung.
It was the number one platform in 35 of the 56 countries Canalys tracks..."

Rubout: iPhone 5 to convert 42% of Android users, 67% of BlackBerry
The numbers show that less than half of Android users surveyed (47%) say they plan to buy another Android phone. That means user dissatisfaction with the platform is so high that the majority of people currently using an Android have already given up the on the platform. Aside from the kind of tech geeks who desire an overly complicated Linux-based phone, most current Android users are explainable either by the fact that the iPhone wasn’t on their preferred carrier at the time or an instance of a salesgeek promising them that Android would be “just like iPhone but better.”
